1. Who we are
Mediyuga Surgical Pvt. Ltd. (“Mediyuga”, “we”) manufactures and supplies reusable surgical instruments from Jalandhar, Punjab, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we handle it.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer an enquiry or fulfil an order:
- Contact details you submit — name, organisation, work email, phone number, country and postal address.
- Enquiry content — the instruments, quantities and notes on your quote list or RFQ form.
- Technical data — browser type, approximate region and pages visited, in aggregate form.
- Quote list contents, which are stored in your own browser and never transmitted until you submit an enquiry.
3. Why we use it
Your data is used to prepare quotations, respond to document requests, dispatch catalogs you have asked for, and meet our record-keeping obligations as a medical device manufacturer. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Sharing
We share personal data only where it is necessary to complete what you asked for — for example with a freight forwarder for shipment, a payment bank for an invoice, or our authorised distributor in your territory where you have asked to be routed to them. We never sell personal data.
5. Retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained for three years. Records tied to a shipped order, including the quality records for the batch supplied, are retained for eleven years in line with EU MDR requirements for Class I reusable devices.
6. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing legal obligation to keep it. Write to legal@mediyuga.com and we will respond within thirty days.
7. Cookies
This site uses local browser storage to remember your quote list between visits. That data stays on your device and is not readable by us. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
